MISSION STATEMENT:

To seek out responsible, caring and loyal persons to be live-in caregivers. Dedicated to introducing such exceptional caregivers to loving and caring families.

SERVICES

Signing a contract with Michael and Christeta's Quality Caregivers delivers far more to you than just an employer and a sponsorship to work and become eligible for Landed Immigrant status in Canada. Our responsibility does not end once you enter the residence of your employer here in Canada. In fact, we believe its important to provide you, the caregiver, a proper introduction to the culture and layout of Toronto and its surroundings. We create individualized orientation binders based upon information you provide to us in the application and during interviews. We are keenly aware that the differences in culture and financial responsibilities back home can sometimes be overlooked or misunderstood by both sides. Quality Caregivers therefore pledges itself to act as a mediator when any questions or concerns arise. Do not hesitate to phone or email us.

COST

A reasonable fee is charged for our services. We may NOT be the LOWEST price out there, but we have a great reputation, as an agency that provides REAL EMPLOYERS, and we can prove it. Feel free to ask for phone numbers of caregivers already in Canada. As mentioned previously, this is not a one time placement (i.e. we do not just bring you here to Canada and forget about you). When you sign a contract with us, we provide additional help after you arrive here in Canada. And if, through no fault of your own, the employer releases you, we will attempt to find you another employer at no additional charge to you. Unlike other agencies, we pick you up at the airport and you can relax for several days until you start your job. We also take you to the government offices to obtain your Social Insurance Number, and get your Provincial Health Card (OHIP in Ontario) applied for. We also provide a full spectrum introduction to the Canadian financial system and everyday living in Canada, focusing in on topics such as TAXES, DEDUCTIONS, SAVINGS, TRANSPORTATION, CELL PHONES, WEEKENDERS, ETC.

Please call us or email to discuss the placement fee.

WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?

First and foremost, please read the 3 primary requirements in the first section of the Quality Caregiver's application form. If you already meet all 3 requirements, then contact us as soon as possible to expedite the process of securing you an employer. If you already have a relative or friend living here in Canada, we highly recommend having them contact us on your behalf initially. Send them a copy of your resume to present to us. Otherwise, its best to Email us at: mandc@qualitycaregivers.com. However, if you do not yet have all 3 requirements, then please indicate that when you email us. Also, it is very important for us to know exactly what your work experience is. We need to know the number and ages of children and/or elderly clients that you have looked after.

Proceed to the Application

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFO FOR CAREGIVERS

2009

AUTHENTICATION OF TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS FOR POST SECONDARY EDUCATION

note from Quality Caregivers: this part of the process, authenticating documents is the MOST crucial part of what you (the caregiver) need to prepare from back home. You should already have this process underway before you apply to any agency. Authenticating documents now can take up to 6 weeks, or more, if not done correctly. Delays are how caregivers get cancelled, don't cause yourself to be cancelled because you didn't get your documents in order. Also, make sure you get your NBI done too.

FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY

NOTE: It appears that the authentication is being done at REGIONAL OFFICES:

Therefore I am not sure if you can still get authentication for transcripts at the following address anymore:

HEDC Building
Carlos P. Garcia Ave.
U.P. Diliman
